Make the numbers agree.
Before you ask more of your data, make sure finance, operations and the board work from the same figures.
A founder-led data consultancy. When your leadership team gets different answers to the same question, we trace the data and logic, agree the definitions and build the data foundation that keeps those numbers consistent.
When the same question produces three different answers.
THE PROBLEM
Reporting disagreements rarely begin in the dashboard. They usually start underneath, in conflicting definitions, fragmented systems, unclear ownership, inconsistent calculation logic or data captured at different points in the same process.
Finance, operations and commercial each bring a different figure to the same meeting.
Leadership has an expensive reporting estate that people work around rather than trust.
Six figures a year spent on reporting tools, and people still export to Excel.
Customer-facing numbers nobody can fully explain or defend.
The organisation is under pressure to use AI before its data, governance and business case are ready.
“The business wants to report on the business. It shouldn't have to care which system the data came from.”

Know what’s broken before you fund the fix.
THE APPROACH
TWS Solutions works with leadership teams to take complex reporting and data problems from diagnosis through investment case, architecture and delivery. Before we build anything, your finance, operations and technology leads agree what each number means, in writing. Each stage after that is a separate decision, and you can stop after any of them.
Diagnose
We trace where your numbers come from, where they split and who owns each piece. That means time with the people who build the reports as well as the people who read them in the boardroom.
You get a roadmap and a costed business case, written for your board to approve or reject on its merits.
Build
We design and build the data foundation, analytical models and reporting layer around the agreed priorities.
Delivery is phased so useful capability can enter production while the wider programme continues.
Scale
Once the foundation works, we scale the pattern across more domains, reports and users without rebuilding the same logic each time. That can include wider self-service, automation and, where there is a genuine business case and the data is ready, AI.
We help assess which opportunities are worth pursuing and whether the underlying data is ready for them.
WHY TWS SOLUTIONS
The people who diagnose the problem stay to fix it.
Founder Toby Sparkes leads every engagement, from diagnosis and business case through to delivery. You deal with him directly, as do your CFO, CIO and other senior stakeholders. He explains modelling and architecture decisions in terms non-technical colleagues can challenge and understand.
Around him, TWS assembles the delivery team each engagement needs: platform architects, data modellers, engineers and business analysts, recruited and managed by us. Specialists join when their expertise is needed and roll off when their work is done, so you only pay for the right capability at the right stage.
THE FOUNDER
Meet Toby Sparkes
Toby Sparkes founded TWS Solutions after working across the full data-delivery lifecycle, from hands-on analysis, engineering and modelling through product ownership, platform leadership and data strategy. He has built and led data teams, untangled complex reporting estates and worked directly with finance, technology and board-level leaders.
He is as comfortable shaping the business case with a CEO or CFO as he is designing and building the solution with engineers. That keeps the business problem, the strategic response and the technical solution connected.
Programmes rarely stay still. Priorities shift, assumptions change and systems prove messier than expected. Toby can move with the problem, adjust the plan and keep the work anchored to the outcome the business actually needs.
